Is the Mac Mini Big News?

Most definitely.
I never imagined dedicating an “And Now for Something Completely Different” to computer news but I just couldn’t help myself. The Mac Mini is too cool and I have to talk about it.
Apple describes it best: “The Most Affordable Mac Ever.” (starting at $499) Not only that, but also, it’s probably the most adorable Mac ever as well - sporting an unbeatable compact cuteness with the following dimensions: 6.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall, and weighing in at only 2.9 pounds.

Imagine a world where PC users by the thousands migrate WILLINGLY to Mac! No more whining about how expensive Macs are, or not having TWO buttons on the mouse. Yes, it’s time for those PC users to shut up! YAY! And all the computer users world-wide that have been wondering about what it’s like to have a Mac, but were afraid to ask—actually, were too cheap to buy (you know, the Mac being too expensive was really an exaggerated myth, anyway) can really check it out easily now. All you need is a keyboard, screen and mouse.

I’m going to keep this installation of ANFSCD short and sweet because everything else you need to know about the Mac Mini can be found effortlessly if you simply check out the specs on the Apple Computer website.
If you’re new to Mac and feel lost as a Mac user, I highly recommend that you join a Mac Users Group (MUG). Look for the group nearest to your home by doing a search on the MUG Finder here. In a MUG, you’ll find Mac users having all levels of expertise and you’ll be in a friendly environment to learn exactly what you’d like to know about the Mac. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy different social activities.
I hope you’ll at least investigate the possibility of getting a Mac, particularly a Mac Mini. And, if you do so, I have one last thing to say:
Enjoy your brand, spanking new Mac Mini! I don’t think you’ll regret getting it.
